Its become abundantly clear that there needs to be one voice, one association that represents the interests of outfitters in New Brunswick. Outfitters – have registered businesses, those that have invested in and own there own accommodations that are graded to ensure they meet industry standards, that support the local communities through purchasing of goods and services, by hiring guides and cooks to help with delivering high quality hunts/fishing trips/expeditions to their clients, that protect themselves, their employee’s and the gov’t of New Brunswick by purchasing business liability insurance. Outfitters rely on sufficient allocations from the gov’t of New Brunswick for their sustainability, for enacting and enforcing laws to provide for fish and wildlife management, for fair policy development.
We are looking for outfitters that want to be part of our association, one dedicated to Outfitters, that are looking for an association that will represent them in dealings with Departments of ERD and Tourism to ensure outfitters concerns are heard, to ensure outfitters get access to fair and equitable allocations to sustain their businesses, to ensure they have access to gov’t programs and committee’s and one determined to keep an eye on the pulse of the industry, to stay current and on top of issue’s that could affect our industry.
NBOA’s annual meeting is April 11th, 2018, we want to have as many new or returning members as we can get there, to chart the future in securing outfitting’s place in New Brunswick. Please fill out the online form on the website to get started, or you want a call no problem let me know and it will get done. Strong Association = strong industry.
